PayGhana was founded by a team of Ghanaians in the diaspora who understand firsthand the challenges of supporting loved ones back home. We saw the need for a service that goes beyond simple transfers, focusing instead on the direct fulfillment of essential payments.

​Our journey started 5 years ago in a modest coffee shop in Dallas, Texas - a few of us, fueled by the ambition to streamline payments to the motherland (Ghana), determined to make a difference. Back then, all we wanted to do was to ensure that our parents power don't get turned off by ECG because they didn't pay the bill on time.

Today, we've evolved to make sure that not only our parents lights don't get turned off by ECG, but our nieces and nephews don't get sent away from school for not paying their school fees on time, our uncles and auntes don't get turned away from medical facilities for not having the money to pay the hospital bills, our sisters and brothers who sell social media don't lose a customer because they can't accept payments, and we in the diaspora don't get ripped off by somebody helping us to build our house in the motherland.
